brochures

A brochure can be a promotional piece for a business to distribute, a membership folder for an organization, or an informational pamphlet about a product or issue. While they come in various sizes, the old standard tri-fold being the most familiar, they are typically letter- or legal-size and folded in half, thirds or quarters. Many businesses now rely on the internet to communicate and inform, but in that case the audience needs to actually go to the computer and look up the information, while brochures are a way to get information out to the general public without their having to make an effort, and are a good way to lead an audience to the website where there is more information to be found.

The school holds a fund raising benefit every year, and the challenge is to do something new that will inspire donors to attend. This invitation was entirely created in PhotoShop with clipping paths on the images and the spotlights created to fit the artwork. This piece is 8.5" x 11" half-folded. Please visit the Center for Theater Arts customer page for more information and products for this customer.

Center for Theater Arts yearly class schedules

These pieces have traditionally been 8.5" x 25.5", tri-folded to 8.5" x 11", the folded again for mailing. The content has to fit on the appropriate panel, and, again, the trick is to come up with something unique every year. This year being their silver anniversary, we added silver ink to the four-color process. Please visit the Center for Theater Arts customer page for more information and products for this customer.

This is a very higly-competitive field, and this customer wanted a professional-looking brochure. They had a few photos and copy, and taking the green, white and yellow theme from their logo I used one of my phtoos of daisies. I work with this customer through a print broker, who actually met with the customer and brought the work to me.
