carnegie's main street in spring
Carnegie's Main Street is at its most beautiful when all those ornamental pears bloom in April. In 2009, I decided to walk up and down the street to document the various views. Main Street runs north-south, and in April the sun doesn't reach the west-facing buildings until well after noon. This particular morning began sparkling and clear but became over cast shortly after noon and the trees lost their glow, so I guess I'll just have to wait until next year to get the views I missed now.
